What preoccupied people in Roth in the 1970s? What did they eat? What did they wear and how did they spend their weekends? More than fifty years ago, life became colourful. The conquest of space was reflected in design and art. Bright colours and wild patterns characterised everyday life. Star Trek was on the telly and Saturdays were for going to the disco. Anyone who lived through the 1970s is probably happy to do without crackling plastic turtleneck jumpers and no longer decorates their kitchen with Pril flowers. But it was an exciting decade: the Olympic Games in Munich, colour television and Germany becoming world football champions. However, the Vietnam War and the terrorist activities of the RAF also shaped this period. With numerous photographs and objects from old Roth, the exhibition brings the 1970s back to life in our city

Castle ghost Johann loves colourful Easter eggs. And there are lots of colours to discover in the castle too. That's why the ghost has come up with a new Easter puzzle for young and old alike this year: to puzzle over, play, join in, craft and win. Anyone who solves all the puzzles and gets creative at the craft table will receive a small Easter gift at the ticket office. The highlights are the rousing bands and the parade on Kirchweih Monday with over 40 clubs. The grand fireworks display on Tuesday is the finale.
