Familienerlebnispfad Hilpoltstein
Countess Palatine and night watchman, the traditional Flecklasmo, castle festival drummers and even a dragon: the new hiking trail for families through Hilpoltstein is around 2.6 kilometres long and is also suitable for grandma and grandpa as well as your little siblings in pushchairs. Exciting stories and tricky tasks await you at a total of 18 stations. Of course, there's also plenty of romping around! Meet famous people from the city's history, scramble and romp over the play equipment and solve the puzzles along the way. There are also playgrounds along the way, for example on the Försterwiese. And before you reach the castle, the town's landmark, you can take a break at our new forest playground and fortify yourself with a picnic.
The start and finish of the trail is marked by the fountain in front of the town hall in the old town centre. There are pubs and ice cream parlours around the fountain where you can reward yourself at the end.
Length: 2.6 kilometres, with hiking extension: 4.7 kilometres in total
