Old Town Hall
The building from 1684 was built as a town hall, department store and dance hall. In the basement bakers and butchers offered their products for sale. The first floor housed a large, three-aisled hall, which served as a "dance floor" and market hall. The second floor housed the town council chambers. From 1865 to 1972 the building was used as a schoolhouse. The oversized windows in the south façade, installed in 1889/90, are a reminder of this period. After extensive renovation between 1984 and 1987, the upper floors now house the Wolfram von Eschenbach Museum.

Wolfram Monument
As early as 1857, the Bavarian King Maximilian II had participated in the Goethe Schiller Monument in front of the National Theater in Weimar by donating the ore for it. He subsequently commissioned a commission to erect a tungsten monument in Eschenbach, Franconia. The sculptor Konrad Knoll modelled the statue, which shows tungsten through harp, laurel wreath and sword as singer, poet and knight. Eduard von Riedel, who later also supplied the plans for Neuschwanstein Castle, created the plinth and fountain. On 1 May 1861 the monument was unveiled in front of an audience from near and far in the market place.

Cathedral of Our Lady
The 63-metre-high tower of the Liebfrauenmünster towers above the city as a landmark visible from afar. The tower's helmet made of colourful glazed bricks is striking. Its motifs refer to the history of the church and the town, including the town's coat of arms, a black cross on a white background as the coat of arms of the Teutonic Order and a white crosier on a red background as the coat of arms of the diocese of Eichstätt.
Inside, a memorial plaque from 1922 commemorates the minstrel Wolfram von Eschenbach, whose grave is in the church. The most valuable piece of equipment is the rosary altar from around 1510/20.

Franconian Literature Trail
The path around the old town invites you to browse through the Franconian soul. Over a length of 2.3 kilometres it leads along the completely preserved city fortifications as well as over the Schießweiher and the Badeweiher. On 15 panels, writers from various epochs - from the Middle Ages to the present day - whose work or life has a connection with Franconia are presented. Among them are well-known names such as Hans Sachs, Ludwig Tieck and Jean Paul, largely forgotten authors such as Anton Schnack from Main-Franconia and the local authors Gerd Scherm, Horst Prosch, Peter Dreyling and last but not least Wolfram von Eschenbach.
