Wild Boar Barbecue Buffet at Rabenstein Castle

From January to May and from October to December, the popular wild boar barbecue buffet will once again be held regularly in the Knights' Halls at Rabenstein Castle. It includes:

• Fresh crusty bread with herb butter and crackling lard
• Colourful salad selection from the buffet
• Cream soup with potatoes and leek
• Wild boar from the skewer with dark beer sauce, potato dumplings & Bavarian cabbage

In the exclusive setting of Rabenstein Castle, Jürgen Stark, long-standing member of Germany's oldest and largest whisky club and owner of the Whisky Lounge in Heroldsberg, will whisk guests away into the world of Scottish whiskies on two evenings:

‘Rare & Old’ – accompanied by an exquisite 5-course castle menu, you will learn all about how Scottish whiskies are produced in different regions and taste rare and older whiskies in the magnificently decorated armoury. Price: from £219 per person, limited number of participants.

‘Winter Magic from Scotland’ – enjoy an exquisite 4-course castle menu while learning about the production of various Scottish whiskies and tasting different bottlings and flavours. Price: from £109 per person, limited number of participants.

The evenings come to a close in front of the open fire in the castle's fireplace room.
