Rules for the 2026 Burgenstraße Contest

1. Organizer
The organizer of the contest is Burgenstraße e. V., Pretzfelder Straße 15, 90425 Nuremberg. The sweepstakes is conducted in cooperation with geobra Brandstätter Stiftung & Co KG, Brandstätterstraße 2-10, 90513 Zirndorf.

2. Entry Period
The sweepstakes runs from August 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026, inclusive. The entry deadline is December 31, 2026. The date of receipt of the complete entry materials by Burgenstraße e. V. shall be decisive.

3. Eligibility
All natural persons are eligible to participate. Minors may participate with the consent of their legal guardians. Employees of Burgenstraße e. V. and geobra Brandstätter Stiftung & Co KG, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation.

4. Participation
To participate in the contest, participants must visit at least three castles or palaces that are members of the Burgenstraße during the contest period. An overview of all participating castles and palaces is available on the Burgenstraße website. As proof, admission tickets, receipts, or comparable evidence of visits to the three castles or palaces must be submitted. The following information must be provided along with the proof:

    First and last name
    Address
    Email address and/or phone number

Alternatively, proof of eligibility can be submitted via email to info@burgenstrasse.de.
Only one entry per person is permitted. Incomplete or late entries cannot be considered.

5. Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded by random drawing from among all valid entries:

1st Prize: A family weekend with two nights’ lodging, including breakfast, at a castle hotel on the Burgenstraße. The stay is subject to availability and must be coordinated with the hotel. Travel to and from the hotel is not included in the prize.
2nd Prize: The PLAYMOBIL® “Lion Knight Castle” play set, valued at approximately €200, consisting of: Set 72112 – Grand Lion Knight Castle, Set 72115 – Lion Knight’s Weapon, Set 72116 – Troll with Lion Knight’s Treasure, Set 72119 – Lion Knight Leader
3rd Prize: The PLAYMOBIL® “Dragon Knights” playset, valued at approximately 205 euros, consisting of sets 72118 (Leader of the Lion Knights), 72210 (Dragon Knights’ Attack Tower), 72213 (Dragon Knights’ Combat Training), 72211 (Dragon Kidnapping), and 72113 (Dragon Knights’ Tower)

Cash payments, exchanges, or transfers of the prizes to third parties are not permitted. The organizer reserves the right to provide substitute prizes of equal value if an advertised prize is unavailable for reasons beyond the organizer’s control.

6. Determination and Notification of Winners
Winners will be selected by random drawing after the entry period has ended. Winners will be notified by email or phone using the contact information provided. If a winner does not respond within 7 days of being notified, the prize will be forfeited. In this case, a new winner will be selected by random drawing.

7. Data Protection
The personal data collected in connection with the contest will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the contest, in particular to verify participation, determine the winners, and ship the prizes. The data will not be disclosed to third parties unless necessary for the conduct of the contest. The privacy policy of Burgenstraße e. V. applies.

8. Exclusion from the Contest
The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the contest in the event of false information, attempts at manipulation, or violations of these terms and conditions.

9. Early Termination
The organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest early at any time for good cause.

10. Liability
The organizer is liable only for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent conduct, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Legal Remedies
Legal recourse is excluded.
