Special exhibition: Peter Conrad Schreiber

Special exhibition: Romantic painter Peter Conrad Schreiber (1816–1894). Entitled ‘Weg nach Süden’ (Journey to the South), the exhibition traces his artistic career from Franconia to Germany and Italy, bringing his biography to life through a selection of his works. Schreiber's landscape paintings are considered impressive examples of Romantic depictions of nature and reveal his close connection to Franconia. In addition to important loans from museums such as the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, rarely seen works from private collections are also on display.

Motorcycle star ride Kulmbach

The motorcycle star trip in Kulmbach is a highlight for motorcycle enthusiasts from all over Germany. Under the motto "Arrive instead of perish," the two-day event offers a varied program that promises driving safety and driving fun as well as entertainment for participants and visitors. There's music, food, drinks, and fun for the whole family.

On Sunday, the star rally will take place, where thousands of motorcyclists will arrive to participate in a kilometer-long motorcycle procession through the city center. The streets fill with the sound of engines as the drivers proudly show off their machines. After the parade, there are more highlights and many more attractions on the event grounds of the Kulmbacher Brewery that round out the event weekend.

29th Kulmbach classic car meeting

The Oldtimer Stammtisch Kulmbach invites all classic car enthusiasts to the 28th Kulmbach Classic Car Meeting. It will take place in the form of an exhibition on the grounds of the Kulmbacher Mönchshof. In addition to hundreds of beautiful vehicles, visitors and participants can expect a harmonious supporting program. Last year, over 1,100 classic car owners proudly displayed their treasures, allowing visitors to experience over 100 years of automotive history up close.

Old Town Festival

The Old Town Festival has been around since 1979 and was an attempt by some Kulmbach businessmen. In 1982, sports office manager Dieter Franz joined in and took the lead in organizing the festival. It was a success from the start and remains one of the region's most popular festivals to this day.

The Kulmbacher Altstadtfest has a long tradition and attracts thousands of visitors every year. The combination of live music, culinary offerings, and of course the famous beer from Kulmbach creates a unique atmosphere that brings the entire old town to life.

Advent Market Kulmbach
