The Lohmühle restaurant is idyllically located directly on the Mühlbach stream and just a two-minute walk from Bayreuth city centre with its sights and pedestrian zone.
"You should always spoil your guests as if they were your own family" - this is the motto of the award-winning restaurant, which offers the finest Franconian and international cuisine. Particularly popular with guests are the Franconian classics, fish from the restaurant's own basin and the changing seasonal dishes with selected regional ingredients.
Dishes are served in the cosy restaurant or in one of the numerous adjoining rooms. In summer, the Lohmühle invites you to sit in the beer garden in front of the building or on the terrace by the rushing Mühlbach stream in the shade of the parasols.

Liebesbier Restaurant & Bar
The Liebesbier is located in the heart of Maisel's beer experience, the brick building from the founding year 1887. 19th century brickwork meets modern industrial design, collector's items join modern art, and cosy niches alternate with spacious brewery flair. The terrace and gastro garden are also open from spring to autumn.
The brewery workshop, where the brewers work on the brewing kettles, can be seen from almost every seat. The large window to the kitchen provides a view of the preparation of the food. The menu includes sophisticated dishes with regional ingredients, small, fine beer accompaniments, crazy burger creations, juicy steaks from local pasture-raised beef, best-of-veggies, sweets for afterwards and much more.
At the bar, which impresses with 21 taps, 21 freshly tapped and over 80 perfectly chilled bottled beers find their way into the glass. Changing house lemonades are prepared at the bar and unusual drinks and cocktails are created.
