Öhringen reads a book
Öhringen is once again reading a book together: ‘Alte Sorten’ (Old Varieties) by Ewald Arenz. Öhringen's book lovers are reading the selected book and taking part in numerous events organised by the community. With ‘Alte Sorten’, the board of trustees has chosen a special novel: a loving homage to the power of friendship, the beauty of simplicity and the importance of home. Author Ewald Arenz, born in Nuremberg in 1965, works as a teacher at a grammar school in Nuremberg. His novels and plays have won numerous awards. As the highlight and conclusion of the campaign, bestselling author Ewald Arenz will be a guest on Friday, 17 April 2026.

Night of Music Öhringen
The Night of Music is an established live music festival that has been taking place in Öhringen city center for 23 years. With a single admission ticket, visitors can experience a wide variety of bands from different musical genres at several concert venues. The wristbands cost €15 and will be available in advance in Öhringen from February 15, 2025.

Hohenloher PARK Experience - Enjoyment for all senses
This concept continues to focus on the exhibitors in the idyllic Hofgarten. Oases of well-being and cozy places invite you to linger and try regional delicacies.
A cozy wine arbor, a future beer garden, and a large "Hohenlohe Market Tent" for regional vendors and exhibitors are planned.
The program will be adapted to the LAGA anniversary and will offer various theme days. A delightful program of music, culture, creative inspiration, and fascinating lectures is being created on various stages in the middle of the countryside.
The topics are Home & Garden, Art & Crafts, Fashion & Beauty, Wellness & Fitness, and culinary and regional specialties.

Winefestival
Öhringen has been presenting the region's diverse range of wines on the first weekend in July since 1996. Discover award-winning wines from local winegrowers on the market square, in the castle courtyard and in the idyllic “Schloss West” area. Treat yourself to culinary delights, enjoy the music on the stages and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere.

IM HOFGARTEN - The Summer Festival
Sentimental sounds, witty sayings, and captivating highlights await visitors at the latest edition of "Im Hofgarten - The Summer Festival" at the Öhringer Allmand.
The program consists of a high-quality mix of comedy, cabaret, and music.

Martini Market with a Sunday of open shops
Under the motto "Eye and palate delight," the Martini Market delights both locals and guests from the entire region.
Highlights include the popular goose pen on the market square, the big Martini raffle, and the traditional lantern procession at the Stiftskirche.

Winter, Wonder, Christmas Glory - Christmas Market Öhringen
The Christmas market takes place on all four Advent weekends on the historic market square and in the castle courtyard right next door.
For children, there is once again the popular fairy tale trail through the old town with scenes from well-known fairy tales. In addition, there is a fairy tale wagon at the entrance to the castle courtyard where stories are told. The steam train will also be making its rounds and there will be a model railway exhibition in the Blue Hall of the town hall.
