In the Eberbach old town, there are over 50 half-timbered buildings with exposed half-timbering. Additionally, there are many plastered houses waiting to be "uncovered." A gentle tour introduces the most important half-timbered buildings, their construction history, and their special features. The foundation of the houses is usually made of Buntsandstein, which is also examined more closely for its structures. It is hardly known that there was also a brick kiln and even a steam brick kiln in Eberbach. These provided the roofing for the half-timbered buildings.

The artists' market delights the culturally interested, while the kids enjoy the play areas, the children's flea market and the puppet theater. The seats at the morning pint and lunch on Sunday and Monday are also in great demand.

10 years of Musiktage Ebern! Musiktage Ebern was launched in 2016 as the result of an idea. Peter Rosenberg, long-time first concertmaster of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, was keen to promote chamber music outside the large concert halls. Chamber music with soloists in a large church interior – that is what sets Musiktage Ebern apart. The acoustics in St. Laurentius delight musicians and visitors alike year after year, and thanks to generous sponsors, renowned soloists also make guest appearances in Ebern every year.
The Rückert Ensemble, named in honour of the polymath Friedrich Rückert, is reconstituted each year. Friedrich Rückert spent years of his life in Ebern at his parents' house. It was here that he wrote the famous poem ‘Amaryllis’ and over 100 other poems for his beloved. The Ebern Music Festival always focuses on settings of his poems.
