Wandern mit Kindern - "Unterwegs mit Rosi" - Ebern
Since summer 2018, Rosi, Ebern's unique vinegar-rose thick-feathered soft bug, has been guiding us through the former Ebern military training area. The former military area has been developing as a species-rich nature reserve since the soldiers left in 2004.
Exercise in the fresh air and learn how former military use and today's flora and fauna interact - that's what you can experience here. Stamps can be collected at 14 information and activity stations. For a full card, there is a surprise at the tourist information office!

About 4.5 km outside of Ebern in the district of Reutersbrunn you will find the adventure trail "On the trail of the wildcat..."
Visitors to the forest can learn about the shy animal and its habitat at ten child-friendly stations. The carved tomcat "Eberhard" leads visitors about 2 km through the forest.
The trail is accessible all year round.

The nature around Ebern is perfect for a family outing. There are several hiking trails
10 km away (Pfarrweisach-Lichtenstein) - On the Legend Trail through the Lichtenstein Rock Labyrinth - 800m (plus extension Teufelsstein 1000m) long path past strange rock formations such as Tränenfelsen or Walfischfelsen. The Lichtenstein castle ruins right next door complete the "legendary" excursion. complete.
17 km away (Maroldsweisach-Geroldswind) - The Stone Experience Trail on the Zeilberg Mountain - A 3.7 km long circular trail around the quarry with great views and a variety of various play stations. The "Haus auf dem Zeilberg" has a cosy cosy beer garden with playground.
21 km away (Königsberg i. Bay.) - Experience "Natour Haßberge" on the nature adventure trail near Königsberg - A 2.5 to 3 km long trail through fields and orchards with many stations and a great adventure playground.
