A very unusual object has been preserved in the art collections of Veste Coburg, with a suit of armor that is only just under one meter in size. This particularly small, yet fully functional armor was not made for a boy, but for a dwarf who lived in the late 16th century. He lived in the 17th century at the illustrious court of Duke Johann Casimir of Saxe-Coburg. The exhibition in the STUDIO of the Kunstsammlungen presents the object and its restoration, and provides insights into the construction of the armor and its new figurine.
