Coburg, Kunstsammlungen Veste Coburg: Museumsrallye

Two rallies offer discovery fun on the Veste Coburg:

The rally “As a detective through the art collections” includes 16 tasks and is only suitable for smaller children with the help of adults. Children aged 12 and over can complete the rally alone. It is relatively extensive and leads to almost all departments of the art collections. A clipboard with a pencil and the answer sheet can be borrowed. Duration: approx. 60 minutes.

The rally “Detective game: What kind of spot is that?” is a mythical animal search suitable for children aged around 8 years and up. It only includes 4 questions and leads to 4 specific departments of the art collections: Hunting Intarsia Room, Old German Collection (Stone Bower), Historical Glass (Carl Eduard Building) and the Carriage and Sleigh Hall (Duchess Building). The duration of the rally depends on how quickly the routes between the departments are covered. The solutions are printed on the back. Pencils are available.

Can be ordered free of charge at any time by calling 0 9561 879 48 or fuehrungen@kunstsammlungen-coburg.de

A clever griffin and a grumpy dragon - these are the two talking characters of the audio guide tour in the art collections of the Veste Coburg. In the form of a audio play dialogue, the two mythical creatures lead the visitor to 20 stations with selected objects. While the grumpy dragon searches for mythical creatures, the griffin knows exciting stories about the historical rooms and exhibits of the Veste. Even an old dragon learns something!

The visit to all the stations takes just over an hour and is suitable for visitors aged 6 and over.
