Bird room in the Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum Bamberg houses a unique treasure, the Natural History Cabinet furnished by Prince Bishop Franz Ludwig von Erthal. Thousands of birds, mussels, snakes, fish, corals and much more can be admired. The "Museum in the Museum" is particularly suitable for families.
Guided family tour "Bamberg - Living History"
This tour gives the impression of everyday life in former days. The participants have the opportunity to become active themselves: for excample a fire is sparked off like at the time of Emperor Henry or the "Bären Dreck" liquourice is tasted.

Children's city-rallye with dog Berganza and tomcat Murr
At this city-rallye children discover Bamberg on their own, accompanied by dog Berganza and tomcat Murr, both figures of the author E.T.A. Hoffmann. Every child receives a booklet with questions about different stations in the inner city and the Old Town. The booklet is available at the tourist information for 1 EUR.
