The in-house restaurant "Pfannkuchen-Kuchel" in the Hotel Rappen offers its guests culinary versatility at a high level.
The chef is known far beyond the city limits of Rothenburg for his refined, exotic and vegetarian pancake creations. In addition, regional Franconian dishes are served, with the best ingredients from their own butchery, among others. In the warm season, people meet in the traditional beer garden at the house, which is only a few steps from one of Rothenburg's city gates, the Galgentor.
In addition to the main restaurant "Pfannkuchen-Kuchel", the adjoining room "Kutscherstube", the "Rappensaal" and the "Barbarossasaal" are available for culinary delights in large or small groups.

The hotel guesthouse Schranne is centrally yet quietly located on Schrannenplatz in the historic old town of Rothenburg o.d.T..
In the cosy restaurant, as well as in the Schrannen garden during the summer season, home-style cooking with Bavarian and Franconian specialities from our own production is served. Only regional products are used for the dishes, including from producers in the surrounding area as well as from local hunting. Therefore, the menu also presents specialities depending on the season and changes from asparagus to chanterelles to carp and venison dishes.
