Weinsberg: Römischer Gutshof Weinsberg
The baths of a Roman estate, situated at the foot of Burgberg (Römerbadweg 3), are among the oldest preserved Roman buildings in Baden-Württemberg. The architectural remains from the Roman period were discovered in 1906 whilst excavating a tree stump. Initial excavations revealed the complete layout of a Roman bath complex, which was opened to the public.

At the Obersulm-Weiler School and Toy Museum, visitors of all ages can discover how children used to learn and play. Weinsberg: Breitenauer See
Breitenauer See is a beautiful local recreation area nestled between vineyards and woods near Löwenstein and Obersulm. In summer, this large swimming lake, with its sandy beaches and sunbathing lawns, is the perfect spot for swimming, splashing about and sunbathing.
There is plenty of space for children to play, as well as an adventure playground, beach volleyball courts and plenty of opportunities for fun on the water – such as pedal boating or stand-up paddleboarding. A lovely circular path runs around the lake, ideal for walks or short bike rides.

Weinsberg: Dachsi-Naturlehrpfad
The Dachsi Nature Trail at Finsterroter See is an exciting circular walk for explorers of all ages. Along the roughly 2.6-kilometre route, there are plenty of interactive stations where children can learn about nature in a fun way – for example, about animals, plants and life in the forest and by the lake.
Along the way, you’ll be accompanied by puzzles, little tasks and lots of fascinating facts. This turns the walk into a real journey of discovery. The trail leads through woods and meadows around the lake and is a fantastic nature adventure, especially for families
