experimenta – a fascinating world of knowledge and discovery
Germany's largest science centre stands for the joy of experimentation,
knowledge and innovation. In the discovery worlds, four exhibition levels with 275 interactive stations inspire visitors. The highlight of the discovery worlds is the Science Dome. In this globally unique combination of cinema, planetarium and theatre, you can take a virtual journey through space or experience fascinating laser and experimental shows. Children are taught science and technology in an ente and a workshop for practical work, and the Forum, a place for exciting dialogue, round off the range of activities on offer at experimenta.

Saturday/Sunday/public holidays: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Closed: 24/25/31 December, 1 January, and the first 4 school days after the summer holidays in Baden-Württemberg.

House of City History - Otto Rettenmaier House
The House of City History - Otto Rettenmaier House - is located in the building complex of the Deutschhof. It bears its name in honour of the achievements of the businessman with regard to the city archive. Under the title "Historical Heilbronn! People, places, stories", a multimedia time travel through 1200 years of city history from the first mention up to the becoming a modern big city is given. Thereby, history becomes an experience.

Art Gallery Vogelmann
In the exhibition hall of the municipal museums of Heilbronn and the art association, which was designed by the Zurich architect Felipe Rodriguéz, these two traditional institutions have mergend into one location. Changing exhibitions are to be seen on three floors with over 800 m² space. Moreover, the Art Gallery Vogelmann is regularly the stage of a varied programme with guided tours, artist talks as well as workshops.

The Municipal Museum in the "Deutschhof", which puts on top-class permanent and temporary exhibitions, also offers impressive guided tours and workshops. The archaeological collection of the Celts, Romans and Alemanns up to the Franconians in the Middle Ages is an interesting time trip. The museum also shows the art and sculpture collection of Henry Moore, Auguste Rodin and Carl Doerr. In this family- friendly museum you can celebrate birthdays and there are also special exhibitions and lectures.
