Who will find the “treasure at Abenberg Castle”?

The museums at the castle have prepared a treasure hunt for you, where you will travel back in time through 800 years and meet knights, craftsmen and healers along the way.

In five stories about the castle, five riddles are hidden at five stations. Whoever solves them will receive the secret code at the end: A number that opens the lock of the treasure chest ...
Curious already? Then off you go to the castle.
All you need is a smartphone or tablet and the Actionbound app.

Storyteller Martin Ellrodt has developed five special stories for the game and recorded them as short radio plays. Stilla von Abenberg, Wolfram von Eschenbach, Mathes the journeyman stonemason, Carolus Siegismundus von Tratzberg and the opera singer Anton Schott accompany the players around the history of the castle. On a colourful hidden object picture, all the figures from the different periods meet together and invite you to discover the lively diversity of the castle's history - wonderfully illustrated by Helmut Binder from Abenberg.

Note: The game lasts about 45 minutes and is intended for families with children aged 7 and over. The game can be played for 24 hours, as the treasure hunt takes place entirely outside the castle.

Country Life Pflugsmühle - Abenberg

There's something for everyone at the Pflugsmühle: from mini-golf to swing golf and western riding.

Minigolf
Playful golf for everyone in mini format, on short courses made of the finest artificial turf and without any special previous knowledge. Interesting obstacles, slopes, roughs, bunkers and water ditches create the unmistakably real ambience of a large golf course. You play with an original golf putter as a club and with real golf balls.
Playable in all weathers - daily from 10:00 a.m.

Swinggolf
SWIN GOLF is a greatly simplified version of classic golf and offers sporting activity, fun and entertainment for everyone. Embedded in extensive horse pastures and with a view of the Rezattal and Wernfels Castle, you can play a real 18-hole course without any special equipment or previous knowledge. SWIN GOLF is playable from the age of approx. 10 years.
Playing is possible all year round, even in winter.

Pony rides
What could be better for children than going for a ride on a pony? Or taking a little ride in the nearby woods of the Pflugsmühle? Ponies of various sizes are available for hire for up to one hour (please bring good shoes).
Daily from 14:00 - mornings by appointment. Suitable for children of all ages.
