"Children guide children" through Bad Wimpfen
Children trained to be town guides lead other children through the Old Town on exciting hidden paths, in old basements and attics, to high towers and secret aisles.

Dates: April through October every first Sunday of the month at 2 pm as a public guided town tour or by request.
Guided family tour "Bamberg - Living History"
This tour gives the impression of everyday life in former days. The participants have the opportunity to become active themselves: for excample a fire is sparked off like at the time of Emperor Henry or the "Bären Dreck" liquourice is tasted.

"City History for Young and Old"
Families go through the historical Bayreuth with an experienced city guide. She tells child-oriented anecdotes of Bayreuth's history. Not only the castle tower is climbed and the watchman's room is visited. Further information
Playing Stations in Coburg's Doll Museum
At the playing stations the respective toys can not only be looked at, but also tried out right away. For children there are different doll houses, a play shop, construction kits, marbels, items for dressing up and painting as well as a puppet theatre. Furthermore, little explorers can discover toys of former generations.

Crawling Corner in Coburg's Doll Museum
As a service for families with more than one child there is a perfectly equipped crawling corner in the room for museum education, the free rental of a baby carrier and a baby food warmer.

Experience tour for children "The courageous knight"
Children dive into the medieval worls of the mercenaries, craftsmen and margraves at this guided tour which takes about 90 minutes. For especially "clever ones" there are small prizes. Highlight is climbing of a tower of Kulmbach's town fortification with a treasure hunt.

Knight's playground - The special experience for the whole family
Appealingly located by the city wall and by the Eschenbach creek, the adventure playground offers several attractions: A 30 metres long ropeway, a battering ram swing, a castle with a chain bridge and many other timber constructions in a knightly style. At the edge of the playground there is a Kneipp complex with barefoot path. Sitting accommodations invite you to have a picnic or to just dwell in this extraordinary complex. Further information

Children's city-rallye with dog Berganza and tomcat Murr
At this city-rallye children discover Bamberg on their own, accompanied by dog Berganza and tomcat Murr, both figures of the author E.T.A. Hoffmann. Every child receives a booklet with questions about different stations in the inner city and the Old Town. The booklet is available at the tourist information for 1 EUR.

Discovery Tour through the Nature Park
In the Nature Park Center in the Thalheim'schen House the nature of the surrounding area can be experienced in a new way - with all senses and a lot of fun, games and interesting facts for young and old.
"Kitchen, Scent & Homeliness" at Rosenberg Fortress
The guided tour introduces the children to the diet, hygiene and the life at Rosenberg Fortress. It leads into areas of the fortress complex, which usually isn't open to the public. Thereby the children also wander through the underworld of the fortress. The tour takes place every Saturday at 3 pm from April until October! (except during special events like Crana Historica or the Rose and Garden Fair).

At an adventurous guided tour through the cellar-maze children are tracking the secrets of the "White Gold", bail out a desperate cellar ghost and find out why Nuremberg's underground saved the people's lives.
